DACC is scheduling auditions for the 2024-2025 season!

 

Join us for our next season!

The Decatur Avondale Children’s Choir is auditioning now for the 2024-2025 season! If you know a young musician who would like to sing with them, contact Director R. Mark Green at info@decaturavondalecc.com to schedule an audition.

The semester begins with a kickoff celebration on August 20 from 4:00-7:00 pm, and rehearsals begin on August 27. We’ll see you there!

Fall Fireside Fun

Kids and families, mark your calendars to join us for an evening of fellowship and fun! Meet us at the Lehrer residence for pizza, s’mores, and fun! Parents are encouraged to attend this event with their children. RSVP to Jewel Cannon by November 9 at 5:00 pm (please include any dietary restrictions or allergies): jcannon@fbcdecatur.com. Summer Music Camp

LOCATION: First Baptist Church Decatur

DATES: Offered two weeks, June 12-16 and July 10-14

TIME: 9:00am to 12:30pm each day with the option of After Care at out First Camp until 5:30pm for a modest extra fee

PRICE: $125 per camper per week. $25 deposit due upon registration. Full amount due by May 15th

AFTER CARE PRICING: Additional $130 for After Care until 5:30pm per week.

SIBLING DISCOUNTS: $25 off for 2nd sibling and $50 off for 3rd sibling in same household

CAMP ACTIVITIES: Daily gathering songs, sight-singing, handbells, drums (5 gallon buckets), recorders, creative movement, recreation time, snacks, music theory, music games, exploring the lives of great composers, and much more!
