Decatur Easter Egg Hunt
Mark your calendars! This year's Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday, April 19 from 10:00-11:30 am! We'll have egg hunts for three age groups, a popup market of booths and vendors, and a special appearance by the one and only Easter Bunny! Reverend Senator Raphael Warnock’s Leo’s Lunch Box
On April 19 at 2:00 pm (after our Easter Egg Hunt), join us in the Sanctuary for a Conversations event with Reverend Senator Raphael Warnock, who will be discussing his newest picture book, Leo's Lunch Box! This story is a timely tale of empathy, community, and caring for others. A Q&A and book signing will follow.

Elaine Pagels’ Miracles and Wonder

One Worship with the Decatur Avondale Children’s Choir
Our next One Worship service is Sunday, March 30! We'll have breakfast at 9:00 am, small groups at 10:00 am, and our service at 11:15 am. The Decatur Avondale Children’s Choir will provide music for the weekend.
Additionally, please note that our wonderful staff photographer, Gretchen Connell, will be on site to take pictures throughout the morning.

How to Make a Home
Join us on Friday, March 28 for a brand-new, one-act play by Amina Mcintyre on the theme of homelessness! This event, sponsored by Out of Hand Theater, will benefit the FBCD Missions Fund and A Home for Everyone in DeKalb. There will be refreshments and a meet-and-greet at 6:45 pm, the show will begin at 7:30 pm, and a discussion will follow. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by clicking here.

Driving Miss Daisy Tour (FULL)
Legacy Ministry & Young at Heart invite you to join us for a motor coach tour of Atlanta! On Tuesday, March 25, we'll explore and learn more about our home with Atlanta historian Jim Howe. The bus will leave from FBCD at 9:00 am and return around 2:30 pm. Lunch (not included in the trip cost) will be at Mary Mac’s Tea Room. We hope to see you there!

FBCD Youth Night

We’re so incredibly proud and honored to be ordaining our own Maggie Parker Andrews! Maggie’s service will be on Sunday, March 23 at 5:00 pm in the FBCD Sanctuary. Please join us as she begins this exciting new chapter!
