Senior Adult Ministry //
Senior adults are a vital part of the life of our church! Seniors who get involved at First Baptist Decatur contribute meaningfully to our community through spiritual renewal, acts of service, and fellowship. They are encouraged and assisted in their efforts through our Legacy ministry and peer support.
Through First Baptist’s community groups, adults 50 and older are offered opportunities including travel, one-day outings, fellowship events, education, and service projects.

Young at Heart
Young at Heart (YAH) provides opportunities throughout the year for senior adults to experience friendship, adventure, service, and the love of Christ. The focus of YAH is for adults 55 and older. You don't have to "join" Young at Heart. Just begin by getting involved in the service and activity opportunities Young at Heart makes available to senior adults here at First Baptist!

Senior Care Ministry Team
A ministry to the homebound, the Senior Care Ministry Leadership Team visits and shows concern for the sick and bereaved. A card ministry serves those who need encouragement. A food ministry provides Wednesday night Family Dinner meals for those who need physical assistance.
