Volunteer at Warming Shelters

Did you know the average age of a homeless person is 9-years-old? With the cold weather at its peak, it’s imperative we help people find warm shelter.

FBCD is partnering with Compassionate Atlanta, Inc. and other local churches in DeKalb County (Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, North Decatur Presbyterian, and others) to address this need.

But they really need volunteers (like you!) to help.

We are reaching out to ask you to assist us with volunteering to serve on one of two shifts, provide supplies, supper, and transportation of people, and/or donating funds to cover some of the expenses, including security personnel
